Xtro (1982)

Hello everyone! Hope you have enjoyed out content this week. Today’s movie is Xtro (1982) written and directed by Harry Bromley Davenport. A horror/science fiction schlock film.   (Image sourced from IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086610/mediaindex?ref_=tt_pv_mi_sm) It follows a young boy, Tommy, who's father, Sam, was abducted by aliens but returns three years later. Sam isn't the same and starts to have a disturbing negative affect on Tommy. Xtro is one of my favourites of Schlock cinema, mainly because it doesn't try to pretend it is a big budget blockbuster. The film knows it is a B-Grade movie and capitalises on its standing. The film's low budget is obvious with poor acting and below average special effects, except for the alien which looked surprisingly good. Today I, Kazi will be disusing a highly appreciated animated movie of 2015 called Inside Out. A movie that will take you to a roller coaster ride of emotions. The story is about 5 different emotions that are present inside every human being. These emotions are Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust. In the movie, these emotions are displayed as animated character inside a girl named Riley and how the 5 characters helped Riley deal with her toddlerhood and childhood. How stress and sadness started to overpower Riley ’ s life when her parents move to a new house with her. The movie develops by showing how the character Joy and Sadness tries to bring back all the core memories and feeling of Riley with the help of the other important emotions.
