Ghostbusters (2016)

Hey there! Welcome back to this week's comedy review.
First, of all, let me start off by saying that the Ghostbusters of 1984 was a good movie but personally, I liked 2016 one better because of the cast. The movie was not that different from the original but it showed us that woman can be our heroes as well. The characters were very well portrayed by the cast who usually do comedy movies so naturally, this movie was well planned.

This movie is one of a kind since the cast has done such a good job. It is suitable for any audience. The movie starts off with the storyline of how two scientists wrote a book on the existence of ghosts. The two women had fought over the book and claims and have been separated ever since. After a sudden event which is known as a cataclysm or rather the first cataclysm, these women create a team of four who consists of the two authors/scientists, an MTA worker and a super-intelligent and nutty engineer.
These women investigate these weird occurrences and nobody supports their claims and report them to the news as attention seeking and fake. These women stand up to them and try and solve these mysteries. When the town does finally get flooded with these ghostly creatures created by one of the men in town, that's when these women are required and their help is sought. At the end of the movie we see that they create a reverse portal which sucks every ghost and saves the city of New York. The movie has several comic elements such as Chris Hemsworth portraying himself as a foolish receptionist who is hired by these women based on his looks and this is one of the most hilarious parts yet! This movie is quite the watch and I have only positive feedback on this movie cause it really was one of a kind. Hilarious moments were displayed with a good source of action with added science fiction. The theme song as well adds a defined effect to the movie. Thanks for reading these reviews.
Have a great week!
