Aki will be reviewing the modern remake of an 80s classic.

Reaz will be looking at one of the most successful Top Gear adventures.

Finally, I will be reviewing the most recent production of one of the most long lived monster franchise.

Hey guys, We're back with another comic update for this week! So I'm sure most people would have watched Baywatch since it hit the theatres on 25th May (in Australia, June 1st.). Xtro (1982)

Hello everyone! Hope you have enjoyed out content this week. Today’s movie is Xtro (1982) written and directed by Harry Bromley Davenport. A horror/science fiction schlock film.   (Image sourced from IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086610/mediaindex?ref_=tt_pv_mi_sm) It follows a young boy, Tommy, who's father, Sam, was abducted by aliens but returns three years later. Sam isn't the same and starts to have a disturbing negative affect on Tommy. Xtro is one of my favourites of Schlock cinema, mainly because it doesn't try to pretend it is a big budget blockbuster. The film knows it is a B-Grade movie and capitalises on its standing. The film's low budget is obvious with poor acting and below average special effects, except for the alien which looked surprisingly good.
